Kinder Academy Prep School

Kinder Academy Prep School is led by Kimberly Lind, Owner, Operator, and Principal, a retired educator with 33 years of experience in both public and private education and a lifelong focus on early childhood learning. Kinder Academy Prep School serves children ages 4–8 and supports families seeking a high-quality academic program without a traditional full-day school schedule. Our play-based, developmentally appropriate approach emphasizes early literacy, foundational math, social-emotional growth, and critical thinking. Through small-group instruction and hands-on learning, children build confidence, independence, and a genuine love of learning in a safe, nurturing environment that honors childhood while preparing students for future academic success.

After retirement, while enjoying the Grandparent lifestyle, I felt a growing conviction that children deserve more than what traditional models of education often provide. They deserve to be seen, to move at their own pace, to experience learning as something meaningful and joyful. This microschool was born out of that belief. It’s a place where I can return to the heart of teaching, where curiosity is nurtured, progress is celebrated, and every step of a child’s journey truly matters. It looks like a school, but feels like home, place where kids can be kids and learning is fun.  My prayer is that your family joins this new adventure.
