KAPS Pre-K & Mother’s Day Out Overview
At Kinder Academy Prep School (KAPS), our Pre-K and Mother’s Day Out programs provide a warm, nurturing environment where young children learn through purposeful play, exploration, and meaningful experiences. Throughout my 22 years in Early Learning, CDC Learning Center, PreK 4, and Kindergarten, I have believed that childhood should be filled with wonder, discovery, and joy while building the academic, social, emotional, and spiritual foundations needed for future success.
Our classroom blends play-based learning with hands-on academic experiences using a developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with the Texas Prekindergarten Guidelines and Kindergarten Readiness Standards. Children participate in engaging learning centers, sensory exploration, art, music, movement, science investigations, early literacy, beginning math, and fine motor activities that encourage curiosity and independence.
Each day includes opportunities to develop language, problem-solving, creativity, self-help skills, and positive relationships with peers. Small class sizes allow for individualized instruction, ensuring every child is challenged at their own developmental level while feeling safe, loved, and encouraged.
As a faith-centered school, we incorporate character education, kindness, gratitude, and simple Bible lessons into our daily routines. We strive to help each child understand they are uniquely created, deeply loved, and capable of great things.
Whether your child is attending Mother’s Day Out or preparing for kindergarten, KAPS provides a joyful learning environment where education meets fun, friendships flourish, and confidence grows one day at a time.
